Sometimes, when life doesn’t fit quite right—like a shirt that squeezes where it shouldn’t—it’s time to stomp, smile, and stitch up something better. I’ve been working on a way to turn frustration into fun, using my creativity, my love of Godzilla, and a bit of crochet magic. And what started as a small fix has turned into something much bigger: a whole mindset powered by Godzilla Stomp Energy!
Here are my power-up chants—little mantras I say while I work, move, or need to calm down and stay focused. They’re like battle cries for gentle warriors like me.
—
The Godzilla March (Mental Stim Version):
(stomp, stomp, stomp!)
I am strong, I am kind, I am loved all the time!
They’re not foes, they’re my heart—Satan can’t tear us apart!
(stomp, stomp, stomp!)
Take a breath, let it go, I don’t have to lose control!
I’ll stay safe, I’ll stand tall—love will always win it all!
—
Crafting Confidence Chant:
(stomp, stomp, stitch!)
I am smart, I am sweet, I make fixes that can’t be beat!
(stomp, stomp, stitch!)
Tape in place, no more fight—crochet power, stitch it right!
STOMP STOMP STITCH!
You are kind, you are bold, making beauty strong and gold!
Stomp Stomp Mark!
With a plan, tape in hand, turning trials into something grand!

These little rhymes aren’t just cute—they help me reframe frustration, feel powerful in my creativity, and remind me that I don’t have to stay stuck. Even when I’m disappointed or misunderstood, I can still choose joy, kindness, and cleverness.
I’m inventing a new way to modify t-shirts that are too tight in the hips:
Use masking or washi tape with evenly spaced patterns (like dots or stripes)
Mark and cut along the center of the tape, so both edges match perfectly
Crochet directly onto the fabric, peeling tape back stitch by stitch!
Turn a bad fit into a unique handmade masterpiece
My shirts may not have been made in the right size—but my ideas sure are.
And if you’re someone like me—tender-hearted, creative, maybe a little squished by the world sometimes—then stomp along with me. One stitch at a time.
Love,
Maddy
